Infinite Volume Relaxation in the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick Model

چکیده
In a recent work [8] a numerical method has been proposed to simulate offequilibrium zero-temperature parallel dynamics for the SK model without finite size effects. We study the extension of the method to non-zero temperature and sequential dynamics, and analyze more carefully the involved computational problems. We find evidence, in the glassy phase, for an algebraic relaxation of the energy density to its equilibrium value, at least at large enough temperatures, and for an algebraic relaxation of the magnetization to zero at non-zero temperatures, with an exponent directly proportional to the temperature.

The out of equilibrium dynamics of the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model
The analytic solution to the dynamics of the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model was developed in the nineties. It involves directly measurable out of equilibrium quantities, and thus addresses the questions relevant to an experimental system. We here review the out of equilibrium relaxation of this model and how it compares to experimental measurements. Out of equilibrium dynamics 2

In this paper, we study the high temperature or low connectivity phase of the Viana-Bray model. This is a diluted version of the well known Sherrington-Kirkpatrick mean field spin glass. In the whole replica symmetric region, we obtain a complete control of the system, proving annealing for the infinite volume free energy, and a central limit theorem for the suitably rescaled fluctuations of th...
متن کاملSome aspects of infinite range models of spin glasses: theory and numerical simulations
The expression " spin glasses " was originally coined to describe metallic alloys of a non-magnetic metal with few, randomly substituted, magnetic impurities. Experimental evidences where obtained for a low temperature " spin-glass " phase characterized by a non-periodic freezing of the magnetic moments (the spins) with a very slow, and strongly history dependent, response to external perturbat...

We generalize the strategy, we recently introduced to prove the existence of the thermodynamic limit for the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick and p-spin models, to a wider class of mean field spin glass systems, including models with multi-component and non-Ising type spins, mean field spin glasses with an additional Curie-Weiss interaction, and systems consisting of several replicas of the spin glass m...
متن کاملKac limit for finite-range spin glasses.
We consider a finite-range spin glass model in arbitrary dimension, where the strength of the two-body coupling decays to zero over some distance gamma(-1). We show that, under mild assumptions on the interaction potential, the infinite-volume free energy of the system converges to that of the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick one, in the Kac limit gamma-->0. This could be a first step toward an expansio...
